Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my documents if I lose my phone? No — this is intentional. The encryption key never leaves your device and is not backed up. If your device is wiped or lost, documents cannot be recovered. No recovery path means no back door.

Does the app sync to iCloud or any server? No. Everything stays on your device. The app makes zero network requests.

Why does the app require Face ID / Touch ID? Your documents are encrypted and the key is protected by biometrics. Authentication is required on every launch to keep your documents secure.

How do I delete a document? Swipe left on any document in the list and tap Delete.

Can I export my documents? Yes — open any document and tap the share icon to share images directly or export as a PDF.

What happens if Face ID fails? You can always fall back to your device passcode to unlock the app.
